My sweet Peromei,

I wish I didn't have to write this. But we both know one way or the other I was going to have to leave eventually. Better to write this in case that time comes sooner than is our choice. If this is being read to you then it has come to pass and I'm sorry for it. You...I can't put into words how much your friendship has meant to me. I keep trying but all I can think of it is music. I'm no musician. Or I'd leave that with you. All I can do is say I had your window built. I'm terribly sorry it took so long. At first, I was trying to get your aligned into it.

But then decided to carefully follow your instructions and employed people to work on it. I oversaw every step of the project. From the base components upwards. I love you, my dear friend. We've been through so much. The initial beginnings when we were both so deep in despair to now where we struggle with it and fight to survive every day. Hope will always remain no matter how deep that darkness is. No matter how dismal it seems. There will always be light.

I know I don't have to tell you this. I just want you to know, I'm carrying our view into the future. Hope will burn as strong as any star because here with you I found my hope. It was with me all along. Buried deep behind all the pit black despair. Thank you.
