Arehtei Scheduling
If you'd like to set a specific time to meet an Arehtei, please fill out the form below and comment to this entry! Our only restriction is that these should have some actual purpose or reason. Please refrain from requesting generic meetings (although threads can certainly start that way). After your requested thread has been approved, please remember to respond with a link to your toplevel!

Okay! Let's see with the details in summary.
Jecht is a number of things:
- A human created from the dreams of the fayth. Technically once the dream is over, he'll fade.
A fayth is a human whose soul was willingly sacrificed and bound to a statue where their power is usually used for summoning or dreaming. Jecht comes from a city called Zanarkand where both the city and the people within are dreams.
- A fayth.
Jecht willingly became a fayth near the end of his summoner Braska's journey. He's a fayth not bound to a statue.
- The Final Aeon
As a fayth, he lets Braska summon him as Braska's Final Aeon - the ultimate summoned beast. For the past 1000 years, only a summoner's Final Aeon can defeat Sin. The summoning kills the summoner.
- Sin
A giant sky whale that's meant to destroy Spira. It always comes back when defeated, because the Final Aeon who defeats it is taken and used as the new Sin's core. Jecht was Sin for ten years before he helped orchestrate his own defeat.
AT PRESENT:
In Spira, he's both a fayth (essentially appearing and behaving human) and The Final Aeon. The Final Aeon is nerfed to a more human form. Theoretically, Jecht can control when he turns into the aeon but once he does, he doesn't have control and will rampage thanks to rage and grief being what powers it. But he's partially transformed once (in August) due to the effects of intense grief. He also nearly transformed a few months before without any rampaging.
There are two methods that should appease/control his form:
- overpowering it with emotions from his friends, fighting, and calm (especially with the help of the Hymn of the Fayth) until his own can take over and he eventually has control over the Final Aeon.
- a summoner (or multiple summoners since a fayth can contract with multiple people at once, even though Jecht was specifically made to bind to Braksa. The stronger the emotional connection/relationship, the stronger, basically)
He's looking for a summoner but he doesn't want to kill them like he did Braska. In Empatheias, the aeon is nerfed enough that it won't kill the summoner but he doesn't know that. It'll probably still drain the summoner (probably their emotions/energy) a little but nothing too harmful.
Note: He might have found a summoner via Aku as an experiment.
